This year, our Sleep Out is dedicated to supporting HARP Homelessness Charity and the vital work they do for people experiencing homelessness. One night outside. A real issue all year round.
On Friday 10th April, from 7pm to 7am, Liberty Hygiene will be sleeping out at our Rayleigh HQ alongside HARP to raise awareness - and vital funds - for homelessness across Essex and London.
Two years ago we raised just over £20,000. This year, we’re setting a £10,000 target - and we’re asking our friends, customers, suppliers and partners to get behind us.
We’re aiming for 50+ people to sleep out in Liberty’s gated car park and help shine a light on a very real issue affecting our communities.
On the night:
HARP is a local homelessness charity providing accommodation, support and pathways away from homelessness, helping individuals rebuild stability and independence.
To take part, we’re asking for a £50 donation or a commitment to raise £50.
If sleeping out isn’t for you, please consider sponsoring us via our JustGiving page.
Every pound raised helps make a real difference.
Donate HereAs a B Corp certified business, we are always looking at ways of giving back to the community and supporting charities, both locally and further afield. We’re look for ways to make a difference, often in small but meaningful ways. Whether it’s donating old towels to animal sanctuaries or providing face masks to local charities during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re committed to helping where we can. While we don’t always make a big fuss about it, our values drive us to support those in need and create positive change.
We’re also proud to be part of the Toilet Twinning Scheme, which helps provide education, clean water, and sanitation in some of the world’s poorest communities. Basic sanitation is a game-changer when it comes to health, education, and livelihoods, and even something as simple as a pit latrine can make a huge difference. We regularly donate to this cause and we have twinned with many toilets, bringing hope and change to those who need it most. As members of the IWSA, we’re also actively involved in supporting this important work.
